Mechanics II
As a sequel to Mechanics I, in which Newton's laws and their application to elementary point particles problems were treated, more advanced topics like Lagrangian and Hamiltonian formalism are developed in Mechanics II. Furthermore, continuum mechanics topics like rigid body dynamics, small oscillations and wave propagations are treated with some introduction to tensor calculus.

As a sequel to Electromagnetism I, fields due to moving charges will be mainly treated. As such, the topics of this course include Faraday induction law, Maxwell equations, time-dependent electromagnetic fields, and electromagnetic wave radiation. It is an introductory course of geometrical and physical optics for physics majors and others who are interested in light and optics.
